Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my Madison Handbag?
Madison Handbags are hand-crafted using high quality, durable fabrics. However, fabric in general can be somewhat delictae and normal wear and tear is expected. To keep your bag looking beautiful, special care must be taken. Spot cleaning with a wet wipe or warm soap and water removes nearly any food or dirt stains from the fabric, and will keep your handbag looking fresh and new.
How often do you change your fabric selection?
Some fabrics are staples that we carry for a while, and other are retired quickly to make room for new selections.
Do you plan to open any stores?
Our dream is to one day have a single flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City! It will be the only place you can buy a Madison Handbag other than being a special guest at a home party!
What if something is wrong with my handbag?
Madison Handbags are guaranteed for 90 days against defect of fabric or manufacture. In the event something is wrong with your bag, we will repair or remake the handbag at no cost to you. However, we are not responsible for normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear is considered to be any damage from fabric rub, stains, fading from improper washing/drying or heavy sun exposure, overloading, or contact with rough surfaces.
Can I exchange my bag?
Due to the fact that Madison Handbags are custom made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for handbags that are made to our quality standards and that are made as stated on the order form.
What do I do if my fabric handbag begins to pill?
Almost all fabrics are prone to pill to some extent, especially when used on a daily basis. Pilling is considered normal wear and tear caused by fabric rub. To keep your handbag looking fresh and new, try gently shaving the pilled area with a disposable razor. We always recommend spot cleaning or hand washing to reduce the amount of wear and tear.
